LAST COUPLE OF DAYS....

Lee's birthday went very well on Tuesday. He loved the Wii console we got him. Played tennis on there with him alot on Tuesday and it gives you a good work out as well....lol

Had a meeting at school on Tuesday morning (I'm a midday supervisor) - to see what is going on and if we have any problems. Yeah - get rid of the really, really, naughty kids and the school would be heaven....There doesn't seem to be any disipline these days. The kids know that they can do anything and there are no consequences. They just get spoken to in a soft voice and told not to do it again, then off they go. Next day, they do it again and so the cycle goes. Banging heads against brick walls is a phrase that frequently pops into my head!!!!!

Yesterday morning (on the flip side of what kids can do) - I went to the finals of the QB Factor, which is based on the X Factor from TV. There were 16 finalists ranging from reception class (4/5 year-old) up to Year 6 (10/11 year olds). They were all fantastic. The two girls who won (both Year 5, aged 10) were great. The one was super confident and really knew what she was doing. Fab couple of hours spent watching children being children and having fun.....

Can't stop being tired at the moment. Think it's because it is nearing the end of term and everyone is a little fed up and worn out...Roll on next Thursday when we break up and Friday I can try and have a little lie-in (well about an extra half an hour..lol)
